Deer Creek School Homecoming festivities will take place at halftime during the game vs. Desoto on Friday, Sept. 8.  The Homecoming Court will be presented and one of the senior maids will be crowned as the 2017 Queen.  Scott Hunter, School Board President and Anne Bailey Peyton, 2016 Queen will have the honor of crowning the new queen.

Senior maids are Adrian Barrett, Kaleigh Brown, and Tyra Hudson.  Representing the Junior class are Bray Britton and Alyssa Brown.  Mary Grace Hobart and Swayze Hollingsworth are the maids for the Sophomore class.  The freshman maids are Juliet Mason and Mary Mesa Wells.

The pep rally will take place at 8:30 Friday morning in the gym.  The maids and escorts will be presented along with the flower girls and the crown bearer.  The cheerleaders have been working hard and will entertain the crowd with Fiesta themed cheers, chants, and dances.

Kickoff for the game will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday night.  Following the game, the Student Council will sponsor a dance in the gym.  The admission is $5 per person or $8 per couple.  The girls are asked to wear “dressy casual” outfits and the boys are to wear khaki pants and nice shirts.  NO jeans or shorts are allowed.  The dance will be from 9:30-12:30.
