On Friday, May 19, the Warriors traveled to Belzoni to face the Humphreys Academy Rebels for the State A Baseball Championship.  On Tuesday, the Rebels took game one by a score of 6-5.  However, the Warriors were all business on Friday!  Game two was a shut-out; the Warriors won by a score of 10-0.  Game 3 started slowly with a lightening delay in the first inning.  As play resumed, the Warriors took an early lead and held it the whole game.  The final score was 20-5!  This is the first State baseball title since the 2002 championship.  Way to go Warriors!
